Housing
You are coming from abroad and joining INRAE as a researcher, doctoral student, or intern. Whether your stay in France is short or long, you will need somewhere to live. A word of advice: you should start searching before you get here!
In most large cities, depending on the time of year, finding housing can be a lengthy process. The information provided in this section aims to facilitate this endeavour, from identifying where you want to live to moving out again. Your INRAE host research unit can give you advice that is specific to your city and region. Don’t hesitate to ask Human Resources for any help you may need to effectively plan your stay in France. If you will be around for a longer stay, you can always contact the social services assistant at your research centre if you run into any problems.
