Through joint scientific reflection and cross-disciplinary programmes, INRAE employs collaboration and interdisciplinarity to drive the development of cutting-edge innovations.

From its place in the research vanguard, INRAE fosters discoveries in diverse disciplines, including the life & earth sciences; engineering sciences; humanities & social sciences; health & environmental sciences; mathematics & digital sciences; and physics & chemistry. INRAE is organised into 14 scientific divisions, which carry out research within specific disciplines but that also encourage interdisciplinarity.
